Livelihoods
EDP utilises the skills of their refugee community to develop financial independence and sustainable livelihoods for displaced people.
Business skills development
EDP has trained over 200 refugees in business management, accounting and marketing.
Small business start-ups
EDP supports refugee women to start their own small businesses. We focus on women as they are more likely to be the primary caregiver for children. Since 2023 EDP has provided start-up funds and materials to over 50 women who have created sustainable businesses, including selling vegetables, cake making, tailoring and soap production.
