The vision of Education and Drama for Peace is for all young people to have the opportunity to live with dignity, free from conflict and with the opportunity to express themselves and connect with others in peace and humanity.

The mission of Education and Drama for Peace is to empower displaced people through teacher training and school support, drama, trauma therapy and business development so they can contribute to their communities and build a peaceful and more prosperous future.

Education and Drama for Peace (EDP) was established in 2014 in Khartoum, Sudan, by refugees and displaced people to ensure access to effective education in camps and deliver peace building activities focussing on youth. In 2023 EDP, along with millions of other Sudanese, were forced to relocate to Renk, South Sudan, where we have continued to serve our communities.
